I pimped out some ordinary tea towels with christmas fabric trim. A quick and easy gift for my brother and his new wife's first Christmas together! (well first christmas married...)

I made a table runner for my mum this year. She doesn't usually check my sewing blog, so I think I'm safe positing this before she gets it. I'm so pleased with how it turned out. I like the fabrics, how they work together. I like the stitches I chose to quilt it, and that it lays nice and flat. I hope she likes it too!!

Sewing Bloggers are the best bloggers out there. With their generous nature, sharing information and tutorials, I am never at a loss for resources. When we share our stories online, we're all winners, but in this particular situation I am an actual winner, of some actual awesome fabric! I won a pack of fat quarters from Amy of Badskirt in Australia. Thank you so much, Amy! I can't wait to fit these into a future quilt.
