Small Magazine - Spring Issue!

I am starting to realize that online magazines are the wave of the future. I am fully on board especially when the new Small comes out! Like Today!

Pre-Wash or Not To Pre-Wash

That is the question... Most projects call for you to pre-wash the fabric before you use it so that it doesn't bunch up unpredictably after the finished product is washed... But so many fabrics look extra nice when they haven't been pre-washed and give a brand new look to the finished project. So I am often torn on what to do!!

Do you pre-wash?

Baby Gift

I made these tiny little 6-9 month skirts for one of Ronan's daycare teachers that just had a baby. They are the miniature version of Oliver + S Lazy Days skirt pattern, my new favorite skirt pattern!!

Spoonflower

I am so excited, I just got my first 8x8 swatch of fabric from Spoonflower!! I used (with permission) an image that Blake drew of a little leprechaun wearing a top hat and it turned out SO well!! I just placed an order for the full yard of fabric. I can't even believe how excited I am that it turned out so nicely. I don't even know what I'm going to make with it!! I'm sure a little will be used for something for Ronan, but what else? I've spent the whole weekend staring at it and smiling. Spoonflower is so amazing, the possibilities are endless! Especially when you're married to an illustrator...
