That is the question... Most projects call for you to pre-wash the fabric before you use it so that it doesn't bunch up unpredictably after the finished product is washed... But so many fabrics look extra nice when they haven't been pre-washed and give a brand new look to the finished project. So I am often torn on what to do!!

I always pre-wash. Saves heartache if anything bleeds, and prevents uneven shrinkage. I also prefer working with fabrics once the sizing is out -- just feels better.
