Back from the Dead

Well, I decided to give that skirt one more try and not even bother with the pattern. It was already cut out and gathered for my size, and it was cute fabric and didn't want to waste it. I had some ideas of how I wanted to finish it, but after watching Stylicious today I decided on an elastic waist. Of course, those girls are all about a size 4 so it may have not been the ideal way to go, but it worked and it's quite comfortable. It will be good for bumming around the hot apartment. And at least I have a sense of accomplishment. It's no longer dead to me, but we have a sordid past...
